At the age of 19, I embarked on a solo journey to Canada, my very first encounter with a true northern winter. It was during this expedition that I serendipitously crossed paths with my now-husband, Ian. Canada soon became my home, and our journey together led us to marriage, homeownership, and the most joyous chapter of all when we welcomed our precious daughter, Mila, into our lives.
For the past 13 years, we've put our hearts and souls into creating a life that harmonizes financial stability with the freedom to explore the world and cherish our passions. Ian held down a steady 9-5 job that provided a consistent income, while I juggled serving and bartending gigs that granted me flexibility and additional savings.
